In a year where we have heard the word “unprecedented” repeated at every turn, we are thankful for a God who saw 2020 coming.
He was not taken by suprise that our “normal” was completely turned upside down in a matter of days. God was not shocked that a global pandemic literally changed the way we look at most everything. Nothing is being taken for granted now, as the most mundane decisions are deliberated to the point of exhaustion.
But, let me ask you... Are you healthy today? Give Him thanks for your good health. Do you have a roof over your head? Give Him thanks for His provision. There are countless things for which to praise Him, if we will only rest in Him. Our hope, our peace, our future...are all found in Christ.
While 2020 has most definitely served up a great deal of chaos and confusion, we serve a God who is not the author of either. He is the Great I Am, a shelter from the storm. He is the One we run to when nothing else makes sense. He is the One who says in the middle of the storm “Peace be still.” What He has done in the past, He will do again.
The true test of our faith is how we react in the storm. Each and every day we have the opportunity to choose.
Do we dig in deeper and read the Word? Do we work toward building a stronger relationship with Christ? Or do we complain about the things that are beyond our control?
Guess what? God is still in control. Take it to Him. He is still in the miracle- working, mountain-moving business. While our human emotions might be fragile, while the things we previously took for granted might have been briskly taken away, we know this... OUR GOD REIGNS!
He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His Word is a light unto our path... no matter how dark that path might seem. And while the media might want us to focus on all that has gone wrong, on the rioting and the looting, on the great divide... We have a choice. We can choose to get up in the middle of our circumstances and praise Him.
When we begin to praise Him, there is no room for doubt and fear. There is no room for the enemy to attack. There is only clear communication with the Father, who has your very best in mind...and He is working all things together for your good.
If Paul and Silas could praise Him from the jail, you can praise Him while sitting in your home (whether you are there voluntarily or otherwise). A pandemic might affect our circumstances, but don’t allow it to affect your faith. Use this extra time to change the fabric of your relationship with Christ for the better as you celebrate the goodness of God in the land of the living.
This is the day that the Lord has made! We have so much for which to be thankful! We have so many things to rejoice about! Psalm 37:25 tells us, “I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”
God sees you right where you are. Your friends and family might not be there to console you, to help you in the middle of your own personal storm...but God is. He sees. And He will truly make a way where there seems to be no way. All you have to do is call upon His mighty name and know that the Master of the impossible is carving out a path so intricate, so divine...that it can only be ordained for you.
The blessings God has in store for you, no man can take away. But you have to call out and ask. Raise your hands. Lift your voice. Praise His name and allow heaven to come down and saturate your life.
As we wrap up this year, we find ourselves in the perfect spot to come together as the Body of Christ like never before. It’s time to pray for a revival to sweep through our land, for an all- consuming fire to ignite in souls around the globe. Our nation, and the nations of the world must humble themselves before God, making Him the central focus of all that we say and do. As we open ourselves to be used by the Holy Spirit, it is truly amazing what can be accomplished.
While our outlook, our daily decisions, our way of life has been altered this year...our faith and the truth found in God’s Word remains the same. Our commitment to sharing the Gospel remains the same. What a true privilege to take the Gospel to a world so deeply hurting and in need of a Savior.
Thank you so much for all that you do to make our daily operations possible. During a year that has seen great struggle, we have been able to work as the hands and feet of Jesus to share God’s love in very tangible ways. We have been able to run faster and work harder, changing our digital footprint a bit to allow us to reach a wider audience...as we have been in and out of lockdown this past year.
While our circumstances are ever- changing, our sincere gratitude is constant. We humbly thank you for being the heart of this ministry, for praying for us and lifting us up. We thank you for your sacrificial giving, understanding that in a year where fear and uncertainty took center stage, our ministry friends and partners stood in the gap and gave like never before.
Pastor Hagee has said many times that you might never know the lives you have touched until we are all in heaven. That could not be more true right now. And, I am asking one more time... Won’t you please consider a year-end gift to help us finish 2020 strong? While the enemy is attacking people using every trick in his arsenal, we will not succumb. We choose faith over fear! For Christ has already given us the victory!
Thank you so much for all that you do to enable us to win the lost each and every day. Thank you for being a Difference Maker in the lives of untold millions around the globe. In a year like none other, let’s band together and proclaim more Kingdom victories. Just a few more sermons. Just a few more salvations. Just a few more bodies healed, and relationships mended...
Our God is alive and well, and one day He is coming back again. Until that day, let’s labor together to share the message that JESUS SAVES!
In and out of season, our God reigns. He is faithful and true. May God richly bless you for all that you do to help us share this life-saving message.
