For decades you have heard me teach on end times and how all Bible prophecy has been fulfilled that needs to take place before the rapture of the Church. Make no doubt about it, Church… The King is coming! No man knows the day or the hour, but it is up to each of us to be prepared.
We have an obligation to teach our children and our grandchildren about the joy and peace that is found in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We serve a God who is the Prince of Peace, and He delights in granting us favor. He will give you the best of things in the worst of times. And let me tell you, peace that surpasses all understanding is definitely a great thing to have during these uncertain times.
We know the truth, but our society has become enamored with various sources of fake news. Thank God for the Good News of the Gospel. While the world is fascinated with the future, the Bible tells us our end from the beginning. There is nothing that happens that is a surprise to our Almighty God, the Creator of the Universe.
The good news is that God is still on His throne. We know the end to this story, and everything is going to be alright.
Knowing that God is in control should make you rest easy when there are tough questions that our nation and our world are faced with every day. What will become of the United States? How will our new President respond to foreign aggression that seems to be mounting? How will our allies and foes respond? Will Iran attack Israel? Will Israel be ready for these attacks from their neighbors?
My son, Matt, has recently written a book that masterfully touches on what is happening in our world and how it plays out in a prophetic road map. The pieces laid out in his new book, “Your Guide to the Apocalypse” contain insights and instructions from the Word of God, and from decades of teachings. Matt has done extensive research, and made this book something that I consider to be essential reading for each and every Believer. I wanted to give you an encouraging look with the following excerpt from the pages of his book:
FOCUSING ON THE MAIN THING
A lot of debates take place when it comes to the end times and the apocalypse. There have been so many studies done, so many commentaries written, and so many sermons preached on this subject that I believe we sometimes are guilty of not listening to the music and only arguing about the notes on the page.
It’s perplexing to me why most of the conversations and debates about the end times and prophecy seem to focus on the minor issues and not the major facts God has so graciously presented. Scholars want to argue about interpretations and doctrinal perspectives of certain singular aspects on the topic. My personal preference is to focus on the overwhelming major truths that world history verifies and that the Bible has proven time and time again.
The Bible is the only book that has accurately predicted prophecy after prophecy. Instead of focusing too much on the details of interpretations, we should celebrate the fact that our God is so wise that He can orchestrate all things from beginning to end. And with that being the case, He is certainly capable of handling any of the finer points of our lives and the world we live in as well. Before you turn the page to the next chapter, consider this important question: If the interpretation has been pinpoint accurate thus far, then why wouldn’t it continue to be so in the days to come?
Don’t let this thought escape you: The Cornerstone is coming back to Earth, and when He does, His kingdom will not end.
I hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to get my son’s new book. I know that you will find it fascinating and compelling. Once you read “Your Guide to the Apocalypse,” you will want to read it again, and share it with your friends and family. You can get your copy by going online to www.jhm.org/yourguide
I will say it again, if you aren’t looking for the Lord’s second coming, He is not coming for you. Get ready, Church. Look up. Pack up. Pray up. Because we are going up in the twinkling of an eye.
