Our founding fathers built this great nation on the precepts found in the Bible. They did this, knowing full well that a Christian nation would be able to stand against its enemies. From the very beginning this country was guided by strong leadership and they got their direction from God’s Word.
During the American Revolution, we had a brilliant and bold George Washington at the helm, whose leadership helped birth these United States. Washington said, “It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.”
During the Civil War, we had Abraham Lincoln who was honest and persistent. He crushed slavery and held the union together. Here are his thoughts on the Bible:
"In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to men. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this Book. But for it, we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it."
It is a new day in America. We have a new leader who has pledged to put the needs of our nation and her people before all others, holding to the traditions of those who led America out of its infancy.
For nearly a decade we have allowed others to chip away at the heart and soul of our country bit by bit. We have allowed ourselves to become a nation that is severely divided on politics and morality. During this last election, families and friendships were shattered because of opposing views on the direction our country should take. It’s time to begin rebuilding those relationships and it’s time to rebuild the foundation of this nation.
The Bible states in Proverbs 29:2 that “…when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule the people groan.”
The righteous have been given a second chance to make things right in America.
It's time that we usher in a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.
It is time to stop focusing on all the media hype and start focusing on how we can work, as the unified body of Christ, to take America back to the foundations of faith that our forefathers intended. It is time to link arms with our fellow Americans and say, “Enough is Enough!”
This is our moment to be the light in a dark world. It’s time for the Church to rise up and take its rightful place in history as leaders and ambassadors of Christ. We need to step up and call upon the Lord to bless this great nation, so that we might bring Him the honor and glory that He so richly deserves!
What is the solution for America today?
How can we make her great again?
We can no longer be bystanders in the game of life; we must raise up a legion of godly leaders who will choose truth over political correctness, right over wrong, duty over convenience and integrity over deception.
The leaders of tomorrow are my children and grandchildren, and your children and grandchildren (Proverbs 22:6). I want to encourage you to be the leader in your home, and I want to equip you to raise the next generation of world changers in the ways of the Lord.
Do you know what a leader is? It’s leading by example…no matter where you are, even if nobody is watching. Having your name at the top of an organizational chart may give you authority in your place of business, but it doesn’t make you a leader. The position doesn’t make the person; who you are, your character, makes you a leader.
Anyone who thinks they lead, but has no following, is only taking a walk.
A leader is not someone who is trying to be all things to all people. For years, this is what America has been trying to do, and we have slowly lost our status around the globe. We are now in a position to stop offending God, and to start honoring Him with our thoughts, words and actions.
Will you make a commitment today to be the leader of your home? Will you be sure that your home is a place that reflects the love of Jesus Christ? Will you share His message of unconditional love with your neighborhood and your community? If we will all shine the light of Jesus Christ on all those that we encounter, then together we can take this nation back to the place it all began…ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
When you support John Hagee Ministries, you are part of “our voice” that is taking all the gospel, to all the world, for every generation. Your generosity is helping us train and equip tens of thousands here in the U.S and all around the world. When you partner with this ministry, you are laying up treasures in heaven that God is using to change lives, impact families and transform communities and nations all around the world.
We can do this, together…one heart and one home at a time. Don’t let the enemy lie to you and tell you that you aren’t a leader, that you can’t make a difference. Take charge of your life or somebody else will. Take charge of your home or somebody else will. Define yourself, looking through God’s eyes…looking through HIS eyes of love.
Don’t permit other people to define you. Don’t allow your past to control your present. You have been liberated! You have a victorious future ahead of you. Stop looking over your shoulder. Great things are just ahead.
I believe that as we work together, great things are ahead. You were created to live a victorious Christian life. And we are blessed to live in the United States of America.
I ask you to join me this year in praying for our President and our nation’s leaders. At John Hagee Ministries, we have someone in our Prayer Chapel praying every single day that our leaders will hear His voice and follow no other. Our leaders need you to cry out and shake the heavens on their behalf. Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered!
Father God, let heaven itself fill the home of those reading this right now. May righteousness, love, joy and peace from above fill their home. May they be filled to overflowing with the boldness and blessings found in Your Word. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Let us be bold enough to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, that our nation may truly become one nation under God once again.
Use us to change the hearts and minds of those around us, in our community, in our schools, in our places of employment. Lord, sweep our nation with Your love, that we might become unified once again as brothers and sisters in Christ and begin this great work with us. Use us for Your glory!
