Joy Unspeakable

Do you want to have a joy explosion at your house?

Invite Jesus Christ into everything you say and do. Let Him come into your heart and your home and take over! We were designed to live in constant communion with the Savior, and it is only when we begin to carve our own path that we become most miserable.

Psalm 30:5 tells us “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

Jesus came to this earth so that we might receive new life, that we might be filled with joy. He wants us to live a life of great abundance; this means a life that is fulfilling and joyful.

John 17:13, “But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.”

You might be in the middle of a storm right now, with chaos raining down all around you. Don’t become discouraged! True joy doesn’t come from the circumstances surrounding you. True joy comes from within; it is a gift from God.

And joy is contagious. You want to have so much of the Lord in your life that it splashes onto those around you. You want His love and joy to saturate your life and overflow into the lives of those you come into contact with on a daily basis. There is no limit to God’s love, and His joy is meant to be shared.

Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

When we place God as the main focus in our lives (as the Bible commands in Matthew 6:33), the distractions of this world that would weigh us down are suddenly not as important. We are not bogged down by things that have no place in the life of a Believer. We can give our time and talents to the Lord to use as He sees fit. We can honor Him, the glory and the lifter of our head (Psalm 3:3).

1 Thessalonians 2:20, “For You are our glory and joy.”

What’s the best way to turn a bad day around? Praise the Lord! In good and bad, we should give Him highest praise. For there is no shadow of turning in Him, our fortress and our Hightower.

Psalm 100:1-3, “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. ”

If you are looking for a joy explosion in your life that will saturate every corner of your being, place God first…above all else. Praise Him! Honor Him with your life and allow the Holy Spirit to invade every dusty corner of your existence. God is good, and He is faithful. When you seek Him, you will find that the door will be opened unto you and your cup will run over. You will come to know what true joy really means as you learn how to dance in the rain.

Psalm 28:7, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.”
