Go Big

John Hagee

What are you believing God for this year? The Bible tells us that we have not because we ask not (James 4:2-3). This year I want to encourage you to GO BIG! Don’t be afraid to ask God to move mountains of impossibility in your life. I want you to believe God for things that can only be accomplished through divine intervention.

God will open the doors that only He can open, doors that no man can shut.

— Revelation 3:7

Did you set goals for 2021? Habakkuk 2:2-3 tells us to “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” I know that we live in a world with countless uncertainties, but there is one thing that we can all be confident in… God is still on the throne, and He will work all things together for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). With that promise, you can stop worrying about the chaos and all the reasons why you think you can’t do whatever it is that has been on your heart for years. The lies that the enemy will constantly whisper in your ear. The enemy wants to hold you back from reaching your full potential, from obtaining the things God wants you to have and accomplishing the purpose that is predestined for you. You are designed for greatness. You are destined to live a life of victory through the power of Jesus Christ. Today, get on your knees and start praying. Ask God to help you recognize His call on your life and fulfill the desires of your heart.

A praying Christian is a powerful Christian. A praying family is a powerful family.

A praying church is a powerful church. A praying nation is a powerful nation.

Do you want to live in victory or defeat? It is your choice. Are you ready to take a deeper dive into your relationship with Christ? Open God’s Word and saturate your life with His promises. Keep praying and allowing God to renew your mind. Our God wants to help you achieve the impossible in such a spectacular way so that He receives the glory.

It is essential to know that prayer is not getting God to run our errands. Prayer is laying your need at God’s feet and asking Him to direct your path. He knows what you need. He’s waiting for you to allow Him to enter your circumstance and saturate your life with blessings you cannot contain. You were created with a divine purpose. Our God desires to give you the best of things in the worst of times. As a child of the Most High God, you are to thrive and not simply survive.

Begin today to ask God for the impossible…Because with God, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Being a Christian doesn’t mean you won’t see adversity, but it does mean you have Someone walking beside you, protecting you, and guiding your every step. Just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, you have a fourth Man with you in the fire. You are never alone! He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24).

What are you believing for this year? What goal would you strive to reach if you knew you couldn’t miss? If you knew amazing things were waiting just around the corner, what would you attempt to attain?

Get after it! Ask God for it! Prayer releases the supernatural power of God into every aspect of your life. Prayer is the key that unlocks the gates of heaven and closes the gates of hell. Prayer can shatter the shackles of misery and cure every sickness and disease. Prayer brings comfort. Prayer touches the heart of God to move on your behalf. Prayer is the resource that will help you realize every dream, goal, and desire that God has placed on your heart.

Prayer is NOT something that you should take casually or use as a last resort. You are having a conversation with the Creator of the Universe. You are talking to the One that hung the stars in space and has breathed life into every living thing. When you pray, you are in the presence of our Savior, who gave His life for you so that you could have an abundant life here on earth and the promise of eternity with God. Prayer is the thing that moves the hands of God to do great and mighty things in your life. You have the power to ask things that are so staggering that God slides to the edge of His throne and says to the angels, “Do you hear that?”

He’s the God who cannot fail. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

When you finally understand the infinite power of God, prayer will become an irreplaceable part of your daily life. When you pray and sense the presence of God, you won’t hold back! Prayer will increase your faith, and it is faith that moves mountains! God will scatter your enemies and make a way for you where there seems to be no way. He will mend your broken heart and restore your relationships. He will make you the head and not the tail, giving you houses you didn’t build and vineyards you didn’t plant (Deuteronomy 6:10-11).

What miracles are you believing God for this year? Are you believing for the impossible, or are you settling for less than you deserve as a believer? Remember, God sent His only Son to die in your place that you might be free. Your possibilities are limitless. You serve a God who holds the world in the palm of His hand. He calls the stars by name, and He is ready to make your dreams, ambitions, and goals an absolute reality.

The Bible tells us to ask according to the Word and will of God, and it shall be done (1 John 5:14). Find a promise in God’s Word and stand on it. Pray for that promise to become a reality in your life and hold onto it until your victory comes! God wants to do great things in YOUR life. He’s simply waiting for you to ask. Make this year your year of miracles. This is YOUR year!

Start believing today that great and mighty things are on the way. Don’t hold back! Go Big or Go Home! Aim high! Be confident that God is sending His angels to move heaven and earth on your behalf. Your victory is on the way!
