It has been 44 years since I made my first trip to Israel, and I can say with great certainty that there has never been a time in all these years that I have seen a greater need to support Israel and Judaism. Anti-Semitism is on the rise globally. Here in the United States, Jews are being attacked in synagogues. Neo-Nazi rallies are taking place. Anti-Semitic flyers are being circulated around neighborhoods in big cities. Jewish children are being accosted in their neighborhoods. As Christians, we must stand up to such atrocities. We must not be silent.
When God established the nations of the world, He began with Israel. She is the epicenter of the universe for God. The Creator of the universe made His love for the Jewish nation clear in Deuteronomy 7:6, “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ did not result in the end of Judaism, nor was it displaced by the birth of Christianity. If there had been no Israel there would have been no patriarchs, no prophets, no apostles, no Bible, and no Savior.
“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.” Genesis 12:23
We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem and display practical acts of kindness. We cannot remain silent in an era where anti-Semitism is growing increasingly rampant. We must take a stand for the truth according to God’s Word.
As a ministry, we support Israel with our words, actions, and resources, and we will continue to be true and loyal to our Jewish friends. Do you want the blessings of God poured out on your life? Take a stand with us, and support Israel.
God set Abram apart that He might consecrate a people for Himself. He chose not only to bless Abram, but to use him as a medium to deliver a blessing to the world. Read Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
In March, I visited Israel and was privileged to meet with Prime Minister Bennett, Defense Minister Gantz, Foreign Minister Lapid, and President Herzog. While in Israel, I was honored as the recipient of the 2022 Menachem Begin Award for extraordinary acts that benefit Israel and the Jewish people. As I stood before Israel’s top diplomats and officials, I was most grateful and honored to represent you, and every one of our Hagee Ministries family, as we stand with a united voice in support of Israel and the Jewish people.
On this memorable trip, we visited the grave site of my most beloved friend, the late Rabbi Aryeh Scheinberg (of blessed memory), with his son Rabbi Avraham and several of Rabbi’s dearest friends. I was also privileged to lay a wreath at Yad Vashem in honor of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. And much to our humble surprise, Diana and I were made honorary members of the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, the first Christians to receive such an honor—one that we will forever cherish.
The Bible says that the Lord has chosen Zion, that He designed it… and He desires it for His habitation. The nations that have blessed Israel have been blessed, and the nations who have cursed Israel have been cursed.
In God’s tomorrow, the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords is going to return to Jerusalem. He is bringing with Him the Bride. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah is going to sweep the Battlefield of Armageddon and destroy the anti-Semitic nations that have risen against Israel. God is going to set up His throne in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the last civilization on the face of the earth. He is going to rule for a thousand years of perfect peace.
As we partner with the Almighty, may we continue to do all we can to help fulfill His righteous mission concerning His people.
