The Holy Spirit

by: John Hagee

The Holy Spirit is our advocate and helper. The word advocate is derived from the Latin meaning "lawyer," someone who can do for you what you can't do for yourself. The Bible tells us that we have two advocates; when we sin, Jesus goes before the Father in heaven as our advocate and the Holy Spirit speaks in our defense on earth. The Holy Spirit is not bound with any earthly limitations. The same power that indwelled Jesus during His earthly mission lives in us today.

Why Did God Choose Israel?

by: John Hagee

After creating heaven and earth, God created man to be loyal to his authority. Adam and Eve quickly lost their relationship with God by believing the snake and eating of the fruit of life which God forbid them to eat. God, extending His amazing grace toward mankind, tried again with Noah’s generation which failed miserably. He then extended a third chance in creating a righteous generation on earth to Abram who obeyed God completely. God, in return, gave him and all the Jewish people the land of Israel forever sealed with a blood covenant. Today, the ownership of Israel is a fabricated controversy of news stories which dominates the headlines and “Breaking News” stories on TV. In this devotional, Pastor John Hagee speaks in support of our Jewish brothers and sisters, defending their ownership of the land and encouraging other Christians to support Israel.

A Portrait of Success

by: John Hagee

What do you consider greatness? Many in the world think of wealth, power, prestige and education as the definitions of success. Yet, consider the storms of the greatest life ever lived. He was born in an obscure village. He was the child of a teenager. He worked as a carpenter. Until He was 33, He had no credentials toward what is required for greatness. God used the moment that Christ looked like a total failure to give us the greatest victory ever known. No other life has affected the lives of mankind more than that one singular life.
