Our world suffers from a lack of commitment…a lack that has caused, in some cases, dreams to be forfeited. As long as it’s convenient, it’s not commitment. It takes commitment to follow Jesus. Commitment is not what you say, it’s what you do. Commitment declares, “What can I do for you, Lord?” Are you curious or committed?
Have you ever wondered what God was doing in your life? Jesus came that He might destroy the works of the devil and set the captive free. Your life is never too complicated for Jesus. He is the answer to every challenge you are facing.
Desperation comes in many forms. Don’t condemn someone else for how they react. You can’t fully understand until you are in their situation. The woman with the issue of blood was known by her condition, and desperate for a change. What was her response? She touched the hem of his garment. How do YOU respond when you’re desperate? Do you respond with faith?
The sermons in this series, Volume 2, include: Committed to Carrying it Through, You’re Free to Go Home, Desperate Enough to Believe.
