Jesus is on his way to Jerusalem when he travels through some places where nobody wants to live. He meets ten lepers and heals them. Only one returns to thank him. Do you have leprosy of the soul? Have you allowed sin to destroy you from the inside out? The Son of God came to seek those who are lost. You have been redeemed and set free. Jesus sees you and He wants to pour his mercy out on you.
Sometimes you try to have a good day and things don’t exactly work out. Bad news rains down on every side. As much as you try to remain positive, things go sideways and you get bent out of shape. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind. Whatever you’re facing, God is still on the throne and everything is going to be alright.
Do you need to be set free? God is still in the miracle-working business. When God does something that rocks your world to its core, sometimes you have to tell someone what He has done. He set you free, redeemed you and gave you the opportunity to gain eternal life! It’s time to shout about his goodness! I’m not yelling at you! I’m praising God for his goodness!
This series includes the following sermons: The Miracle in No Man’s Land, What Do You Do When You’re Bent Out of Shape, I’m Not Yelling at You.
