Psalm 119:160

Today's Scripture
The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
Psalm 119:160
God has blessed us with the border of His Word. The entirety of His Word is truth. All of it? Every word of it. Heaven and earth will pass away, but God will dot every “i” and cross every “t” of His Word (Matthew 5:18).
The Bible tells us Who created us and how we came to be here. It teaches us that He has a plan for our lives. We are not victims of circumstance.
It shares the story of a love so great that He stretched out His arms to die in our place, and of a redemption so welcoming that those same arms are flung wide to embrace and pull us close. It instructs us how to live worthy of this wondrous gift we have received.
When confusion threatens, God welcomes the hard questions. If anyone lacks understanding and needs answers, we can simply ask, and He promises to pour out His wisdom liberally and without reproach (James 1:5). Even when the news anchor contradicts it, when the professor’s words do not align to it, we can trust in its truth and the One Who gave it to us.
God’s Word is flawless. It unfolds to bring light and understanding. He has sent out His Word, and it will not return to Him without accomplishing everything He has commanded it to do. We can stand on it.
Blessing
Heavenly Father, help me to read Your Word, to memorize it, and to build my life on it. Help me to grab hold of its promises and make its truth the foundation of my life. In the name of Jesus… Amen.
