Identity Theft
Matt Hagee

The one thing hell hopes you never find out is who you are in Christ. We were dead in our sins, but because of what Christ and His Father have done through the Holy Spirit, we have been raised to life. When we read the Word, it helps us understand who we are individually and collectively. We’re a reflection of Jesus. The world tries to overwhelm and distract us. Society wants us to doubt God’s Word and draw us away from His promises. The World doesn’t want us to know our true identity because, once we discover who we are through Christ, we become a force that hell cannot stop.
Identity theft is taking something from someone using deception. The devil is a master deceiver who wants to steal your identity, your peace of mind, your joy, your hope, your potential, God’s promises for your life…because you’re an essential part of God’s plan to build the Kingdom on earth. Satan wants you to put your faith in the confusion this world offers instead of the Word.
Jesus is the Son of the living God. He told his disciples, “Upon this rock I will build MY church.” Building upon a solid foundation, Christ has given us His power on earth. In our modern world, we have moved away from our solid foundation. We must share God’s light and live within the freedom He affords us.
